Brief Introduction: Darren Dong has over ten years of experience in the field of intellectual property within the pharmaceutical industry and is a dual-qualified professional, holding both the China Patent Agent Qualification Certificate and the China Legal Professional Qualification Certificate. He previously served as a patent examiner at China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and graduated with a master's degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Fudan University.

Work Experience: Prior to joining SRBM, Darren Dong worked in the IP departments of Biotech companies focusing on biomolecules & small molecules. Darren established the company's IP department and led the IP management for the company's pipelines and technology platforms, including project initiation support, competitive intelligence analysis, patent mining and filing, patentability analysis, FTO analysis, patent layout, etc. During this period, Darren managed the global patent strategy for the company's pipeline, leading to a successful out-licensing deal. Darren Dong also worked at the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), where he was responsible for the substantive examination of patents in fields such as compounds, pharmaceutical compositions, formulations, and medicinal uses.
